Meanwhile, on the other side of the Iron Curtain in Gdańsk, devoted patriot Jan Bitner (Tomasz Schuchardt), passionately fights for a free Poland immersed in the Solidarity movement. Despite their disparate worlds, a subtle connection links them, setting the stage for a high-stakes game of deception and intrigue. With tensions escalating on both sides of the Iron Curtain, the fate of these two men becomes increasingly intertwined. While Hans meticulously feeds information to his superiors, his carefully constructed facade gradually crumbles as Jan's personal quest to find his birth mother inadvertently jeopardizes both of them.
